It is the mission of the Scott County Sports Hall of Fame to recognize and honor men and women who have distinguished themselves and gained prominence in amateur and/or professional athletics; who have brought positive recognition to themselves, Scott County,
the State of Mississippi and their own community; and who have met the established eligibility requirements for induction.
We are excited to have passed our 10 anniversary
of honoring former athletes who participated in their respective sports as student-athletes in Scott County.
We have come a long way since our start in 2014 and created great memories for our inductees and their families.
We started with 25 inaugural inductees
and now stand at 133 members.
New inductees will be added during the next ceremony
on April 24, 2027, at the Livingston Center
at Roosevelt State Park in Morton
Take a peek at our past induction ceremonies. They are held annually at the Livingston Performing Arts Center
at Roosevelt State Park in Morton.
The public is always encouraged to submit nominations.
Nominations are due by each September 30
for consideration in the next year's class and beyond.
The Class of 2027 will be inducted in our next ceremony on April 24 at the Livingston Center at Roosevelt State Park.
The ceremony starts at 5 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale on April 1, 2027

This is a new feature we plan to cultivate. We don't have any entries right now, but if you would like to share what induction has meant to you as a member, or what it means as a family member or friend of an inductee, let us know.
We appreciate the support of all our sponsors and partners whose contributions help us accomplish our mission.
We continue to remember our inductees who have passed away, keeping their memories
in our hearts and minds.

In addition to traditional media, we recognize the role that social media plays in modern communication. Find us on Facebook, Twitter, and other media.

Throughout its existence, the Hall of Fame has conferred awards that honor and recognize people other than athletes and coaches who have contributed to sports programs in Scott County. We have streamlined that recognition into specific categories which highlight individuals' efforts in a variety of ways.
